The UmeCobra is theBoom's two-port noise-cancelling microphone for high-noise cockpits: the front port concentrates your voice, the rear port rejects rotor and engine noise. The US Air Force Research Laboratory measured 82% speech intelligibility at 105 dB against 72% for the M-87.
