A more complete approach to helicopter crew equipment
NVQ Flight Gear is a Danish company created around a practical problem: professional helicopter crews depend on many different types of equipment, but operators often have to source and manage that equipment across separate suppliers, systems and spreadsheets.
NVQ has built a more complete approach. We develop purpose-driven flight apparel under the NVQ brand and bring it together with carefully selected equipment from specialist manufacturers — in one operator-ready crew programme, run on a live platform for ordering, sizing, issued-equipment history, service, replacement and offboarding. The product range itself is still growing, category by category, as suppliers and specifications are confirmed.
What NVQ stands for
The name NVQ stands for Nordic Vision & Quality — the standard we build and select equipment by. Nordic is where we come from and how we design. Vision is the ambition behind the platform: one system for the complete crew equipment lifecycle. Quality is the bar every product must clear, whether we developed it ourselves or selected it from a specialist manufacturer.
Built from operational understanding
NVQ is shaped by direct insight into professional helicopter operations and the everyday realities of crew equipment. Product development and supplier selection focus on function, comfort, durability, verified specifications and relevance to the intended mission.
How we work
- PURPOSE BEFORE DECORATION
Features must solve a real operational need.
- VERIFIED INFORMATION
Specifications and approvals are published only when confirmed.
- SELECTED QUALITY
NVQ will not add products simply to make the catalogue look larger.
- PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION
Operator programmes can begin with a limited scope and expand over time.
- LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP
Products, service and data should support the full equipment lifecycle.
Built for professional helicopter operations
NVQ focuses on HEMS, SAR, offshore, utility, public-service and specialist helicopter operators across Europe, while selected products may also suit other professional aviation users.
